All the world's a cube. If you don't believe this, come and visit "T-Digit", the cubic exhibit of the Deutsche Telekom (German Telecom). There will not be any queues at "T-Digit", because the cube is only to be looked at from the outside, where it serves as an over-sized communication device. Various media surfaces have been installed on five of its sides. Two sides broadcast EXPO information and news from around the world. On the other sides, the visitors can communicate with the cube, for instance by sending it greetings from a mobile phone, or by challenging other people to a computer game through the cube. "T-Digit will be the multimedia link between the world and the World Exposition," promises Deutsche Telekom, who will also be providing EXPO with a multimedia communications network and a call centre. Presently, Deutsche Telekom already offers a sneak preview of what awaits the visitor at EXPO - on the Internet. The company has developed "EXPO-Terravision", which presents a three-dimensional tour of the EXPO site.
