To stand on top of a letter box and gaze over EXPO - this is only possible on top of the POSTBOX, the pavilion of the German Mail Services (Deutsche Post AG). Since December, the inhabitants of Hanover and interested tourists can have a look at the EXPO 2000 construction site from the roof of the 46.5m tall "biggest letter box in the world". Of course, it is also possible to send greetings to anywhere in the world from the "letterbox with a view". Postage can be paid for with EXPO special issue stamps. Furthermore, it is intended that the POSTBOX - in the image of the Info-Box on Berlin's Potsdamer Platz - should develop into a popular meeting place. Five floors with an Info-Centre, function rooms, a service point, VIP lounges and a café invite the visitor to stay for a while. From another four floors, they can enjoy the view of the EXPO site.

In addition, the Deutsche Post, who exclusively delivers all the mail for EXPO, is represented with several Service Points and mobile sales stalls on the World Exposition site.
